MY STORY
It all began in the fall of 1988 when I walked into the political party headquarters in my small college town. I was immediately recruited to help on the political campaign of a state representative. I was immediately hooked.
Over the next several years, while simultaneously raising children, running a small graphic design business, and being active in my community, I became a seasoned political operative. I have done everything from being a volunteer coordinator to running a statewide United States Senate Campaign. I have been a communications director in the Utah Legislature, and I have helped candidates raise money, develop websites, and coordinate messaging. I have worked with individuals running at every level of government, from city council to US Senate.
In 2006, I had the experience of a lifetime: I was recruited to be the Democratic candidate for the Utah Senate representing 6 counties in the southern part of the state. Although I did not win (I was a Democrat in Utah, for goodness sake… and I was a female… and I don’t own a cattle ranch), the experience taught me invaluable skills that have helped me advise candidates on what to do (and what not to do) for an effective campaign.

By staying transparent and available, we will build a mutual trust to foster a strong relationship.
